Choose from over 500 model paints
Our wide range of products primarily includes model paint from the brand LifeColor, which has become a must in the field of model making. These high-quality paints give excellent coverage and can be used on plastic, resin, vinyl, wood, fabrics and ceramics. They can be with a brush or airbrush and, as these paints are acrylic, you can dilute them with water or use the LifeColor Thinner product to thin to the correct consistency. These paints are easy to clean with water.
Scientific MHD offers more than 500 different colours, from the basic white and black shades to more specific tones imitating metal, flesh or gold and even bright colours, including yellow and green. From glossy to matt finishes, there is something for everyone! We also recommend adding a few drops of Thickener to thicken the paint for sublime coverage. And don't forget about the acrylic primers (available in 20 ml pots) to help your model keep its paint on and age better.
Are you looking to organise your workshop? Scientific MHD also offers paint stands to store all your pots of paint, which can contain from 66 to 158 colours. Be mindful that these stands can take up quite a bit of room as they range in size from 44 cm to 89 cm wide, 75 cm high and 26 cm deep. You can also store your pots of acrylic camouflage paints, which are, without doubt, essential for the perfect painted finish. Here, you'll mainly find blue, green, and grey tones and some earth and sand colours to add to the collection. Don't miss the beautiful shades of "stone", "azure", "zinc" and even "Israeli", which you are bound to love.
Pushing realism further with high quality model paint
You can also choose sets that are theme based. These packages of colours are associated with machines such as German tanks or Italian ships to maximise the realistic finish. Among the dozens of model paint sets we offer, some enable you to reproduce the interior of tanks, the uniforms of American soldiers, debris and rubble, trains, rails and even ship hulls. Others facilitate the reproduction of dirt, dust, rust and grime for your war machines. You will have all the colours to hand to bring your models to life.
Not only can we offer one of the most extensive ranges with the LIFECOLOR paints, but also one of the most affordable too. Note that a pot of LIFECOLOR paint contains 20 ml while a TAMIYA pot only contains 10 ml. If you compare the price and content ratio with the recommended prices of the two ranges (3.00 Euros for LIFECOLOR and 2.50 Euros for TAMIYA) you can see that the TAMIYA pots are 66% more expensive than the LIFECOLOR pots.
