The Art of War is an ancient Chinese military treatise that has long influenced the methods of combat and diplomacy in the Far East.
But if we take the word art, what do we also understand from this word? The words artist and artistic are derived from this and these words are associated with works intended to touch the senses and emotions of the public.
Model making is, in itself, a form of art, since creative efforts come together to produce something that can be admired. So, do military models not represent the art of war too? Get your paintbrushes out and start painting!
What will your next project be? What about a tank, or an oil tanker plane that is used to refuel other military planes on deployment?
Or maybe you'd like to build a train equipped with a cannon that destroyed heavy fortifications during the Second World War?
As scale model making specialists, Scientific MHD offers hundreds of military, air, naval and land scale models. Whether motorbikes, trucks or helicopters, almost all of them come in kit form to be assembled, glued and painted. It's a meticulous job that requires a great deal of precision when putting together the parts of these small-scale machines.
Some of our other products include tanks from the French and German Army, a Russian missile truck, the supersonic spy plane SR-71 or even the USS Skipjack submarine commissioned by the US Navy in 1959 and used throughout the terrible Cold War.
You will certainly find something to suit your taste by crossing the ages too! Travel back through time and find the perfect classic model to bring back to life! There are over 800 tank models to choose from various countries. These models are grouped according to their scale.
At Scientific MHD the different models are grouped together (boats, planes, two-wheelers). They are also grouped according to their scale. You can sometimes choose between several model sizes. For example, for models from the Vietnam War, you may want your US army helicopter to fit with the dimensions of your tank from that same era to make your collection coherent. You may also want to add some soldier figurines to create a battlefield scene, and we have hundreds of them to choose from. Like the models, most of these figurines need to be painted.
Scientific MHD stocks a large range of acrylic tints, thinners, primers, brushes, and airbrushes.
All these products come from renowned model making factories to provide you with the best tools for your beautiful military models.
A great example of Scientific MHD's attention to detail is our "camouflage" colour products, which is a fantastic way of adding those finer details to your models, from the small touches on uniforms and tanks, down to the rust and dust on the machines.
