If you want to make the submarine type VII b stationary model |20310| drivable and submersible, you need the propulsion and diving kit.
Larger depth rudders than those used in the scale model must also be used. It is not possible to convert the floor model into a submersible model at a later date.
The propulsion and diving kit includes the 2 drive motors with coupling, all the linkage parts for the larger rudders, covers and seals for the RC box, as well as the gear pump and hoses.
The technique:
The diving procedure of this model is semi-dynamic, i.e. a pump and a flood tank are included in the diving set, which however are only used as support for dynamic (speed-assisted) diving works.
As far as the battery or batteries are concerned, the modeller is free to use the configuration he or she wishes, depending on the space available inside the compartments and the balance of the submarine, but we recommend the NiMH 12 V - 4000 mAh battery (reference Z03N10402F).
