Since 1998, Seagull Models has specialized in designing and manufacturing Almost-Ready-To-Fly (ARF) R/C model aircraft. Founded in 1998 by Mr. Phat Nguyen, who had a passion for radio controlled model airplanes since childhood, the company started in a 350m2 factory, later expanded to 2800m2 in the Hoc Mon district in 2004, employing over 180 employees.
In 2006, the company relocated to a new factory designed by Mr. Nguyen himself, covering 10,000m2 of land and employing 230 people.
Unfortunately, during a business trip to the United States, Mr. Phat Nguyen passed away accidentally in March 2009. To continue his passion and dream, his wife, Ms. Duyen Luu, took the reins and continued to develop the company into one of the world's largest manufacturers of radio controlled airplanes.
All premium models are crafted using lightweight balsa from Papua New Guinea, featuring balsa plywood construction, individually-applied iron-on coverings using authentic Oracover polyester film, and high-quality accessories. SEAGULL makes significant investments in its production facilities, from state-of-the-art laser-cutting machines to CNC machines, to enhance every aspect of the design and production of their model aircraft. The company enforces stringent quality control at every stage of manufacturing to ensure that all kits are built to the highest standards possible.
The models are genuine Almost-Ready-To-Fly (ARF) products and are very easy for R/C modelers to finish and prepare for a smooth radio-controlled flight. The company offers a wide range of products suitable for modelers of all skill levels and market sectors, from trainers to sophisticated scale and 3D models, catering to beginners, sports enthusiasts, and experts.
The SEAGULL MODELS range notably includes a large number of Warbirds, continuously improved with cutting-edge electric retracts incorporating an integrated control module. The company tirelessly works to expand these ranges as the R/C modeling industry and community become more sophisticated and diverse.
